• Really, this is your own fault. If you don't want to risk cats running into your home, you should not go opening your doors so carelessly. Of course, most people don't expect something like this to happen to them, but it is something that we, here at ICHC, warn people about. Cats can catch you and adopt you at any place at any time. If you are a good person, if they can tell that you might be a safe space for them, then they claim you. Yes, just like that. And clearly, this one was one kitty who was waiting for that door to open, and she took her chance the second that she saw it.

• You say this now, but we're telling you, the moment those itty bitty adorable babies start coming out, you will be hooked. Maybe you won't adopt all of them, but you will adopt. It's impossible not to bond with a cat through an experience like that. You will not be able to let momma go. And since you will be with her when she gives birth to her babies, you will not be able to let go of them either - for her. We're better on two. Two cats - momma and one of her kittens.
